SCORE Hosts Open House for Prospective New Volunteers

March 26, 2009

The Lancaster Chapter of SCORE is hosting an “Open House” to recruit new volunteers on April 22, 2009.  We seek a few good people to continue to grow our volunteer staff so that we can better serve the growing number of small businesses in Lancaster County who seek SCORE assistance.

At present we are looking for several new member volunteers who would like to contribute their expertise by mentoring and teaching others to be successful in business.

If you would like to learn more about Lancaster SCORE and what we do, you are invited to attend our 2009 Open House on Wednesday, April 22nd at 11:00 am at Liberty Place on West Liberty Street.

The Open House starts with a luncheon and introduction of a number of esteemed guests from city and county government. Then we will provide a brief insight of the services SCORE provides to the business community of Lancaster County AND we will hear from five SCORE “Clients of the Year”. These five are among the successful businesses that our chapter has helped over the past year who will tell the story of how SCORE helped them succeed.

This is a great chance for you to learn about a terrific volunteer organization that can provide you with an opportunity to use your business knowledge and skills to help small businesses help themselves to succeed.

If you’d like to attend please contact our office at 717-397-3092 or e-mail us at scorelancaster@verizon.net or just stop by our office weekdays from 10am to 2pm.
